a memory of julie in my diary (Posted Jun 02 2006) Justin K Thursday, April 2, 1998 6:15pm Today was an eventful day. At 12:35 PM Julie called me up to ask if I could go to the humane society to visit her dog. We checked each cell for Titus and when we finally found him, Julie tenderly pet him through the openings of the fence. There were drops of tears on her pants and her nose was red. Got attached to the big dog I guess. She said that in five days, they might put him to sleep if nobody adopted him. Her aunt gave permission to take back the dog if nobody wanted him. Julie was so surprised by her generosity and benevolence. While we were outside Titus cell, the other female dog was getting all frisky and started a fight with titus. At first, it looked as Titus was the inferior dog, but in the end, the other dog was bleeding all over from the ear. Go Titus. The trip to the humane society ended with Julie dropping me off at the house. She came in the garage to clean off the blood on her hands and play with the dog for a little while. That was pretty much it. Later this evening, she stated that she would be hanging out at Berkeley with her home girls. A sleep over. Sounds fun.
