Remembering Julie Chen

Your Car is Cleaner Now
Richard Wang - Friend of Iris

Hi Julie.

It's amazing how life works sometimes, isn't it? It seems like just yesterday that you were around. I remember the one day I was at your house in Cupertino, hanging out with Iris. You were home and Iris told me that you were not feeling the greatest, for various reasons. I wasn't sure what to do, but as Iris and I were walking out of the house, I saw your car.

Your car was _very_ dirty. I guess you hadn't found the time to clean it, or maybe outward appearances just weren't very important to you, but I felt sorry for your car. I remember I tracked down some soap, borrowed a hose, and freed your vehicle from its soiled misery. There were a lot of berry stains, dirt mounds and dust all over the windows, but I think I got most of it. Anyway, you came out when I was about to leave without saying anything, and gave me a little smile.

Julie, I may not have known you as well as many, but even from a distance I could see Christ's love reflected from your demeanor and actions. I thank God that He has brought you back to His kingdom as a princess, ready to receive the heaps of rewards and blessings that are in our Father.

I look forward to the day when I will also join you, and we can worship together and have a good laugh about your car in the fellowship of the King.

Your brother in Christ,
Richard
