Remembering Julie Chen

Spaghetti Dinner
Anonymous Asian - Friend

Julie: You remember the last time we really spoke and saw each other. It was September 2004, and I was getting ready to make a major move in my life. You had lots of personal things going on in your life too. You were so great to talk to, and I would hope that I was great to have confided in as well. Since I know people still probably monitor this website, I'll keep our conversation confidential. I'll never forget the horrible effort of the spaghetti dinner you made for me that night. I didn't think anyone could truly mess up pasta, but somehow you managed to. And it was the most memorable pasta dinner I'll probably ever have in my life. You did well on the salad though, w/ ur secret sauce you wouldn't disclose to me. I never would have thought that would be the last moment I'd be able to talk to you, but just wanted to let you know, that I'll never forget it. You really helped me through a challenging time in my life. I'll never meet anyone like you ever again, and hope you get this message wherever you are. Add me to Facebook or LinkedIn, I'm sure they have a version where you're at. Also, thanks to you, I was able to get re-acquainted w/ one of my closest life long friends. So we are both thankful for that in you.
